Fundraising Contract

Ceres Pups Wrestling and Cheerleading Club [CPWC] is a non-profit organization, established in 2015 by founder, Steve Festa. The club's mission is to ensure that every athlete who wants to participate in the CPWC program is provided that opportunity. As a club, we fundraise throughout the year to purchase practice equipment, provide members with the ability to check out club-owned wrestling gear for tournaments, and help offset the cost for members to participate in team skills camps.

We have two major fundraising events throughout the wrestling and cheerleading season:

1. Hosting the Ceres Pups Wrestling Tournament(s)

2. Ceres Pups TapOut Fest Fundraiser Event

Do you understand that in agreeing to participate in our Pups Program, you are required to volunteer at Pup's Events or pay a one-time fee of $300 to opt-out of volunteering?
Yes
Our Annual Tap-Out Fundraiser will require that our Pups athletes sell a certain number of tickets to our event and ask parents to get donation items. Do you understand that in participating in our Pups program, you are agreeing to these terms?
Yes

Transportation Policy

Parents / Guardians of Ceres Pups Athletes will transport their athlete to and from all events, practices, or tournaments. Ceres Pups coaches and staff are not authorized to transport any athlete at any time.

At the completion of the event, practice, or tournament, Parents / Guardians must be present. If not, Pups coaches will call the number on file and give an additional 15 minutes for the athlete to be picked up. If the Parent / Guardian does not arrive and/or is not able to be reached via the provided contact information, the Ceres Police Department will be contacted. If there are three incidences regarding designated pick-up time, the athlete will be removed from the Ceres Pups Roster.

Media Release

Parents / Guardians of Ceres Pups Athletes grant permission to the Ceres Pups, staff, and affiliated members of the club to post pictures/videos/livestreams and other media to the Ceres Pups social media pages (Facebook, TeamApp, GroupMe, official Ceres Pups Website, etc).

From time-to-time photos, videos, and livestreams will be posted and/or shared in order to highlight Pups activities, promote Pups events, etc. Ceres Pups Cheer and Wrestling Club reserves the right to release these images / videos to news outlet and related social media accounts.

Conduct and Commitment

By accepting a position in the Ceres Pups program, you are accepting that your actions are held to a higher standard than those not associated with such an activity. Due to these expectations, exemplary behavior is mandatory at all times. Members of the Ceres Pups program are expected to promote good sportsmanship, ignore and/or dissuade any negative violation of team conduct guidelines, as well as refrain from posting inappropriate comments or photos on any social media platform. Any violations of these terms will result in a meeting with coaches and the club president which could lead up to immediate dismissal from the team.

Promoting good sportsmanship, by way of example, is required AT ALL TIMES. Ceres Pups athletes must not use foul language at practices, at events, at tournaments, camps or competitions, etc. You are representing the Pups Organization.

Members shall always dress appropriately. Coaches will explain expected attire for practices as well as camps and competitions.  Our Ceres Pups attire helps represent our program, and as such, any poor behavior in Pups gear reflects negatively on the program. Athletes must exhibit good hygiene including trimmed nails and clean hands.

Athletes must display appropriate behavior at all times including being on time, consistent attendance, honest behavior, and promoting a positive image of the program.
